Do you supply the tiles or do I?
Either. Plenty of customers have already chosen their tiles, and that is no problem at all. If you would rather have a hand, I can advise on what will work for the room and the wear it will get, and source tiles and materials through trade suppliers. I only ever use market-leading branded adhesives and grouts.
Do you tank and waterproof wet rooms?
Yes. A wet room lives or dies on what happens before the first tile goes down. The floor is formed to the correct falls and the whole area is tanked so water cannot get behind or beneath the tiling. It is the part nobody sees and the part that matters most.
What kinds of tile do you work with?
Ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, slate, marble, glass, mosaic and patterned or Victorian tiles, on both walls and floors. Large-format porcelain and small mosaics each need a different approach, and after twenty years both are day-to-day work.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. No job is too big or too small, from a single splashback or a tile repair through to a full bathroom or a patterned hallway floor. If you are not sure whether something is worth a visit, it is worth a call.
How much mess does tiling make?
Tiling and tile removal are dusty by nature, but keeping things clean and tidy is a point of pride. Floors get protected, cutting is kept contained where it can be, and the work area is cleared and swept at the end of each day rather than left for you.
